Hello, I am Adam Scott, a designer and web developer based in Nashville, TN. I specialize in creating modern and functional websites along with effective marketing campaigns that help businesses thrive.

MyBackground

My background is in marketing, specifically in the music industry where I was the head of marketing at an independent record label.  At the label I oversaw the design of all of our releases’ artwork and promotional material.  In addition, I oversaw all of the online marketing efforts including the design of our corporate website, the artists’ websites, MySpace and Facebook pages and any an all digital media campaigns we ran.

Present

A few years ago I decided to add to my online marketing skills by learning the design skills to design and develop websites.  Little did I know that I would become so immersed in web design that it is now my passion!  I am well versed in Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL and Javascript.   I am self-taught and everything I know I learned through trial-and-error as well as observing others. As a result my designs are unique and I am constantly implementing the latest techniques and trends.

Note: I recently started learning Ruby and Ruby on Rails so that I can develop full web applications.
